I would think these would make great coloring markers, since they are such a bright color. One thing you could do is paint part of a wall with chalkboard paint and let them go for it!

Yup, I think these would be great for little kids to have in their toolbox! They are a bright pretty color, great as markers for coloring as well as highlighters. Good luck!

Oh yeah, you can get it in 12 colors at Home Depot. I painted a big chalkboard on my wall, in a dark blue. The only problem is that if you paint a large area, you need a LOT of paint, since it needs several coats. You can also get black and green chalkboard spray paint, but I haven't tried using it. Might go on a little easier, if you can mask off the rest of the room so you don't get paint spray on everything.
