Well this is not really a comic book it's a softbound book all about the creation of MAD Magazine in the 50's where it all began by the Usual Gang of Idiots

the book is 10 and 1/2 inches X 8 1/2 inches as for the pages they are not numbered but it seems like about 250 pages(something MAD would do)published in 1997

There is a reproduction of the very first MAD magazine cover from October-November 1952 back then it was 10 cents and created by EC comic publisher Bill Gaines

there are all sorts of MAD stuff from the 50's from comics to various stories about the early years and the disagreements that nearly killed the magazine

it's broken down into 2 main sections 1952-1955 and 1955-1959 with color art of the cover and a funny section spoofing magazine ads from the 50's

and record labels from MAD such as Hannibal Crossed the Alps But I Can't Get Around You by Louis Prima

and even a section called Starchie about the comic Archie
