Fanned and watching. I love these. I brought some of these home from West Virginia but it was winter and they grew too fast from the heat in my house and then they died. I would like to get some while the weather is nice. Can they thrive in any climate?

They thrive in MOST any climate, they got snowed on here the last 2 nights and it does not even faze them. they are out side year round. So don't hesitate to put them out, I've been transplanting them for about a month now and they are fine! :-)

here in Portland,OR, they survive outdoors all winter - with occasional snow and freezing weather - I usually cover them with leaves, of which I have an abndance at that time of year . . lol

I love in Northern Michigan and have a lot of beds of hens and chicks in all different soils and sand and rocky areas, The drier areas make them more colorful in the summer!
They do great! I don't cover them in the winter! They do well on their own, Very easy! :-)
