Sweet Shrub seeds from a bush in Williamsburg, Virginia.

The twigs of this shrub smell amazing when broken, but the best part of this maroon flowering shrub for me is are the way cool seed pods. I string the seeds up for necklaces and garlands.

This is a well-mannered ornamental small shrub and a delight to grow. I will send several seeds.

I have some from this last fall, and some two years ago. I send lots of seeds, as I know they can be tough to germinate

i have never tried, but i grow lots of trees in large pots (i have a witch hazel, american hazelnut, and a beech in large pots), so why not?

I will try and post again. As long as I save enough for me when I get a real yard again, I don't need bags and bags of them like I have now :)
