The listing, 73 USPS Postcards with some postage paid! From the 1980's FREE SHIP! has ended.
This listing is for 73 unused postcards that were manufactured by the United States Postal Service. All of them are blank on the other side. I'll describe them below:
---{23 George Wythe Patriot 14¢ postcards ©USPS 1985}---
---{20 Self-scouring steel plow, 1837 14¢ postcards. All 20 of these also have a Washington 5¢ stamp on them. ©USPS 1987. Since I don't know what a self-scouring plow looks like, I'm making the assumption that the pic on them is of one}---
---{28 Francis Vigo, Vincennes, 1779 14¢ postcards. ©USPS 1984}---
---{1 Self-scouring steel plow, 1837 14¢ postcard, described above, but without the 5¢ George Washington stamp}---
---{1 National Guard Heritage, 1636-1986 14¢ postcard. Has 5¢ George Washington stamp. ©USPS 1986}--
I know absolutely nothing about collecting these items, so if you have specific questions about any of these please ask.
I took them to my local post office and the mailperson told me that you can still use the postcards if you add additional postage to reflect today's rates (I dk what they are).
A couple may have a stray mark on them (was in a drawer with writing utensils like colored pencils, pencils, and pens). Nothing major is wrong with any of them.
If you are a teacher or have a young child, it would be great practice to "count up" starting with postage amount on card to what the current postage is using 1¢ or other stamps worth a small amount.
I will ship these via USPS First Class in a padded mailer with delivery confirmation!
I may or may not be available to answer questions over the Memorial Day holiday (going on vacation, not sure of 3g coverage in the area).
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Thanks for stopping by and have a WONDERFUL day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
