Are the ends already connected or do we connect them ourselves? How long to they glow for? This would be the perfect solution for my cat at night. She's black and I have dark brown carpet and I am always tripping over her in the middle of the night.

There are all separate sticks with adapter pieses included for u to connect , I have a few extra adapers laying around I can throw In . They glow 24 hrs each longer if u put in freezer when not in use. I use them camping to keep track of my 4 kids.
