These are from my mom's garden and she doesn't have that issue but I looked it up on http://www.joyfulbutterfly.com/articles/milkweed-plant.html and it looks like the "Common" milkweed does but not this type.

These are from my mom's garden and she has lots of hummingbirds. Don't see a lot of butterflies though

That is weird, I thought that Milkweed was where butterfly's made their cacoon's and fed on. Maybe it is the area where your mom lives??? I would still like to try it out, if anything they would add color to my garden :-)

Probably. My mom has tons of plants so there should be butterflies
