not exactly in order to do that you would need a stereo receiver with an auxiliary port that is compatible with your tv and your tv would need to have an audio out. also note these speakers are only about 12 inches tall and they are meant for a small stereo system

the sound quality in my opinion is decent for there age and would go well with a small stereo system
