I'm offering for your growing pleasure a set of two organically grown Peppermint plants from my gardens! These have not been treated with any chemical of any kind, ever.

I use my Peppermint Plants in 1) Peppermint tea. 2) I make a Peppermint Oil infusion with olive oil to relieve skin dryness and the arthritis in my hands. Peppermint has a definite cooling sensation! 3) A snipping is a great garnish for tea or a cold drink!

The plants will be shipped wrapped moist and with this hot weather, I will ship only on Mondays or Tuesdays so that they won't sit in a hot mailbox all day. You should open the plants immediately and place their roots in a nice cool glass of water for a whole day before planting.

I suggest planting these in a semi-shady location, preferably where it's in the shade in the afternoon. Or you can plant your peppermint in a pot and get it going in a sunny window, then transplant outdoors when temps cool down a bit.

You are receiving live, healthy fully rooted plants. Just bury their roots 1/2 - 1" below the ground, water well, and off they go! These are perennial plants, meaning they will come back every year for you.

Peppermint is a fast multiplier so you will have lots of plants before you know it! All mints can be slightly invasive because they spread so quickly. If this is a concern, grow your mint in a large flowerpot buried with the top buried level with the ground. That way they can only spread in the confines of the flowerpot. Or, just plant it in an area where you can let it go nuts!

Peppermint flowers in mid-summer and you should keep these flowers picked so that the plant's energy will go to root growth rather than seed production.
