nice!! F&W!! 6/0 means it takes 6 to make an inch, 8/0 means 8 will measure an inch, etc. line them up, end to end, and see how many it takes to make a one inch line.
mamabearjones Thank You for that information!! I did not know that and have been beading for over 20 years!! anewme1198, don't feel bad for not knowing. If we knew everything already life would get so boring :)
This is so true. If knowing everything means having a boring life, man oh man, I still have time for some real NON boring life. I hope that made since. :) Now, if someone can tell me how to figure out what size things are using the mm scale, I'll almost know everything. I have no clue how to tell. I have a tape measure, but that's in inches and cm. Hope you have a great rest of your day & evening.
LOL! it's ook, girls. i just started & a friend of mine had just taught me that a few weeks ago because i did not know what size i was looking for. life is all about continuing to learn & grow. when we can learn no more, we cease to grow. :o) (i still use inches to measure. don't even have anything in the house with cm or mm. lol.)
I just need to know because all the jewelry making items are measured in mm. So true you are on the learning thing. I have said for many years now, "My mind is like a dried sponge in the desert, it's forever wanting to soak up anything new. Thanks for the chat.
