would this grow i the tropical country like the Philippines?

may depend a bit on where you are located- i understand it can be cooler overall in the northern region of the philippines, so this climate would be better for growing a fruit tree than continuously tropical weather. but you really won't know until you try. that's why my apple seed auctions are always for at least 4 seeds- ups the chances of getting a great tree going!

yes! there are even commercial apple orchards in texas now, including fujis. a little extra care may be needed in the early stages- i.e. well prepped soil + shelter from wind. tons of detailed info online regarding this.
