The listing, Pitcher for the New York Giants, Bill Terry- Big League Chewing Gum- A Dover Reprint-1933 has ended.
I apologize for the poor pic but it is the best I could do. This card is a pic of Bill Terry, a good, left-handed pitcher, for the New Yourk Giants. Then shifted to first base in 1922 and with the best in the business. He was a Top-notch batter, too. Led the National League in 1930 with .401 average. Hit .350 last year. He was appointed manager of the Giants last June. He was six feet, one inch tall and weighed 200 lbs. Batted left-handed. Was married and lived in Memphis, Tennessee. He loved to hunt in Winter monts. He signed by Giants in 1922 and sent to Toledo for two years. He then became a regular with the Giants firsst baseman in 1927. The yearly date on this card is dated 1933. That's all I know about this card.
