i just looked at that link! i have been to that blog before! i love her stuff and her taste in other stuff. never seen the boxes. the link was broken, but i just searched "handmade kawaii boxes" in her blog and found them. definitely do-able! i love mod podge. i was actually thinking some of the large memos would mod podge to cereal boxes cut to fit and make great upcycled postcards.. may just have one in your mail someday!

BTW... you guys are lucky. i am sticking to my word that this was my final bid. i just raked in some unexpected credits for little effort and i feel pretty flush. ;)

haha.. imma look like i'm talking to myself to everybody, but no - it's supposed to be permanent once it dries. i use it as a sealer on things that have gotten wet before and wiped up fine, but i haven't ever just let any water sit on something to experiment with it or anything. they do have an outdoor version if you wanted to guarantee water-proofing.

(--____--) yeh.. life dosent seem to be fair some times. i think if some one wins something they should be able to have it. how can some one tell you you cant have something based on the way you look or what youve done if you won fair and square. its messed up. anyway, yeh (^----^) wow!! this auctions doing great!!! i wont be winning this one, im trying to get some new cute stuffie animals any way.

your school sounds.. insanely stupid about all that, dirge. my (now)best friend was kicked off of our homecoming court even though she was student-nominated. all because she had gotten pregnant. didn't seem fair at all.

yeh.. dont worry, i was a crimson girl and won the title princess of horrors... although... i would like to win a nice pagent... and be a real princess with a pretty crown and sash instead of my tophat and pair title gogs (v^v) i tryed to enter a pretty pagent last year and they told me my hair was too short and i couldent enter. and i dont want to get started with what happend when i tryed to be homecomming queen they took me off the ballot because they thought i was jokeing even though i won a spot, they gave it to some oher girl and wouldnt put me back on so i never got my chance. im very upset about that (v^,v) still..

i actually have something like 10 different glues around here. i like crafting. ;) i can't afford the good stuff.. that girl said she used watered down diamond glaze, i think it was? not cheap. the best thing i have compared to that is gloss mod podge. matte mod podge is really a little shiny, too, though. it's a glue, but also a sealer. it makes anything you put it on look really polished and kinda.. professional? even something as simple as a rock painted by a child. i could go on and on about it, but i would bore the crap out of everyone here. there are something like 6 kinds or so.. there is a lady that runs a blog called mod podge rocks dedicated to finding things that people have done with mod podge. i have even made some really pretty holiday window clings with it! looked like stained glass.

dirge, i would believe you won a beauty contest.. =) although i find it a little odd you were IN one.

oh i had an insane cold and i was feeling terrible in that video!! XD and looking fat too because the way the computer stretched and squished me (--___--) but i dont care thought id give it my best shot!! ha ha and it wasent a beauty conest!... witch belive it or not ive won a few. but i really think thats the worst ive looked in my life! good thing it was infront of millions of people and i got that out of the way (^---^o)

What is mod podge? I'm figuring it's a kind of glue but um.. what are the qualities that make it your glue of choice? Just wondering... ^-^

..i have to bid low.. :( i am looking at my auctions and i am thinking it may be iffy getting what i want in the later acutions unless some stuff sells insanely well. (which it sometimes does) i really need to quit paying so much for paper! :p

i don't think i have an accent either, dirge. i think Iowans sound just like everyone in the movies, BUT i used to telemarket in high school and i called Wisconsin.. this guy was all asking me what MY accent was. i was thinking, wha?!? you really sound like you are from Wisconsin and you are asking me what my accent is? pretty funny.

what is THIS?!?!? this is just mean Chalsie.. i love it! i have a ton of those smile cat ones. i think somebody i used to trade with had a pad of it, and i thought about listing them. i never know how to use the memos that are like a print all over. if i write on the back - it bleeds through the image because the paper is usually very delicate. not like printer paper or notebook paper.

i don't really know what to do because there are a couple BIG things i am going after that end after this one. i am watching, though. those flakes are cute, and i can NEVER have enough memos!

i was getting a little worried, too. it's not like you were gone long, but when you are used to running into someone all the time - it's strange when they aren't there anymore. nice to see you back. =)
