Thanks sis. I just redeemed a $2 amazon gift card. I want to buy vegan pepper jack cheese on there so am trying to save up as a 12 pack of that stuff is a bit pricey. They don't sell that flavor at any stores here but I do get it at Eat Well when my mom takes me there after dentist appointments. Chad loves that stuff too and he eats dairy products as well as meat. I refuse to buy him dairy anymore but I will get dairy free products for the household. Amazon was here today and I got a bunch of cans of vegetarian duck meat. Chad use to get that stuff at an Asian grocery store and it would be gone. He'd just like get 1 can at a time though. I have plenty of cans to share with him and lots of vegan mac and cheese from Daiya. He'll eat that too.
I got a some veggie burgers and sausage on there too. The black bean burgers weren't that great to be honest but I'll eat them anyways. I wish morning star didn't add animal products to their vegetarian black bean burgers. My mom use to get those for me at Sam's Club and Chad liked those as well. I just wish that the price of food would go down. I did however donate a bag of canned veggies the other day. The box was small. I have another bag ready for donations. I bet the food banks have been getting busy due to the rising prices of food and not everyone qualifies for food stamps. Chad didn't qualify for food stamps when he used the food bank. I'm glad amazon accepts ebt cards but only on certain items. I notice lots of small businesses selling vegan food up on there for a high price.
