My father was a police officer and they used to use ones just like this. I still have some and yeah they are quite loud. This would be perfect for someone looking for vintage police memorabilia since many departments no longer use them. Nice to see one on here. :-)

Yeah, I noticed that most of these that I have seen have the "made in England" part stamped right below the Acme part. So all the writing is on one side of the whistle. This is different though.
