This universal trimmer line can be adapted to any gas or electric trimmer. If not sure how to install it, the sales people at Lowes or Home Depot can explain how to roll it onto your existing empty trimmer spool. It is very easy to do and saves a lot of money. There is more in this package than on a traditional spool, and it is cheaper too. It is not brand new, but most of it is still there. I think my husband used it once or twice, but then we got a new trimmer and it had a few extra rolls of trimmer line and he doesn't need this any longer. Retails for about $5-6.
