The listing, Pink "Slave Bracelet" or Handflower has ended.
I prefer the second term. Much more appealing. It's also perfect for this piece, and you'll see why when you look closely at the little charm.
This gorgeous OOAK (one of a kind) HANDFLOWER is made from glass beads, coated jewelry wire, and a few metal findings. It was worn only for demonstrating how it's meant to be worn... though that's hardly relevant, as I kinda-sorta-maybe-yeah-definitely had to touch it all over to make it. People are so silly, fussing about OMG YOU TOUCHED IT! There's this nifty thing called hand sanitizer, perhaps you've heard of it? Ahem, moving along!
Most of the beads have an AB (aurora borealis) coating that gives them a rainbowy shine but is difficult to capture in a photo. I made this bracelet to be worn by someone with a larger hand than mine, as you can see from the slightly awkward fit. The bracelet is 8 inches long, counting the toggle clasp. The distance from bracelet to ring (the woven part) is 4 inches. The ring is a simple loop of seed beads about 3 inches in length, so it would be a comfortable fit even if you wear a size 13 ring (my middle finger is a size ten, and you can see it's loose.) Enjoy the detail shots of various parts,
I don't repeat designs. I make up a new pattern as I go along, working with what looks good for the beads I have. What I'm saying is, if you really really love this, and it's absolutely perfect for you, grab it now, because you're never seeing it again, For this reason, I will probably not make many handflower bracelets. (They also eat up tons of beads!)
Inquiries shall be submitted coherently. anything else will merit only scorn. GIN (Get It Now) requests must be reasonable and with an awareness that the GIN must be 2000+ by the restrictions of this site, and cannot be posted once a bid has been made. Offers lower than the start bid will be laughed at.
Oh, one more thing. You're bidding only on the handflower, not my fake wedding ring that I use to shoo the creeps at work.
