Description

The listing, Lovely Pink Rose (seeds) has ended.

I originally got these roses here on Listia. I only needed enough to plant one pot for me and one for a neighbor, but the lady I got them from was so generous with the amount of seed she sent, I have these left over. Not wanting these little beauties to go unappreciated, I will share them with you. I'm looking forward to growing these as a patio plant and using the rose hips in such things as teas and potpouri. As with all my Listia auctions, I will only ship to verified addresses. The winning bidder has 7 days to provide this information or this item will be re-listed and the credits bid will be forfeit. Thank you for looking and feel free to check out my other auctions as well. Happy bidding!

Any rose can be grown in a pot. They just need a sufficient space for their roots, watered a little more frequently and fed more. They are heavy feeders when they are blooming and in a pot, a lot of nutrients get washed out of the soil by not just watering, but every time it rains. I have two roses in pots and during the summer I put a slow release at the beginning, plus a weaker water soluable every other week when I water.
