This heirloom was brought from Tennessee by the Cherokee people as they were marched to Oklahoma by the Federal Government in 1839 over the infamous "Trail of Tears" that left so many dead and suffering. This prolific variety is good as a snap or dry bean and has shiny, black beans. Hardy, vining plants.

You will receive 25 seeds harvested 2012 for the 2013 Season!

Fanned & Watching. I know about these Trail of Tears Heirloom seeds, as I am a member of the seed savers exchange! This is one of the most interesting and unique auctions I have seen! Awesome! I've only seen this variety of pole bean in one of my many seed catalogs!
