I hand crocheted this cup cozy with an acrylic yarn so it will not shrink when washed. The 3D cherry is crocheted then sewed on for added strength. The sprinkles are glued on with a permanent fabric glue.

My mom was self taught from a book of basic stitches. She taught me when I was 9 years old (40 yrs ago) My first item was a baby hat for my cousin made with the broomstick lace pattern.
