Beautiful Vintage from 1970's Amethyst & marcasite ring
Amethyst is 5mm round surrounded by marcasites in a 1 inch long by 1/2 inch wide design. Ring size is approximately 8, due to shape of band I'm guessing. But It's not a 7 but could be a 9.
Band needs reshaping by your jeweler, and as seen in pics, doesn't prevent from wearing. It is stamped .925 for Sterling Silver.
