The listing, Mono Lake Tufa State Natural Reserve Card with Envelope has ended.
This card is simply breathtaking! John Muir sang the praises of this amazing lake and its unique calcium-carbonate spires known as "tufa". One of the oldest, and most saline, of North American lakes, it is a critical stopover for migrating birds--especially phalarope species--which gorge on the lake's shrimp before taking wing again. It is also a critical nesting ground for California gulls. This card from California State Parks Foundation is blank on the inside so you can express what ever your heart desires. It comes with an envelope. Photographer-- Steve Albano
