Its about 1 1/2" diameter. (just about twice the size of a nickle which is 3/4 of an inch)

I am very interested in RED JASPER. I really need a piece. That flower looks nice. How can I know for sure that it is actually Jasper and not some other red mineral? I really need it to be genuine Jasper and more red than brown. What do you know about the piece and where it came from?
