The body is yarn that is doubled (two strands held together), so it will hold most objects, but pointy things like pens may poke through! YES if you were so inclined -you- could sew a liner into it, but my crochet skills are much better than my sewing skills!

It would be idea to hold your essentials without your big purse; your phone, a card holder, and maybe a few makeup essentials!

The strap is shoulder length at approximately 13 inches from owl to strap top. The picture may seem longer, but it is the camera angle! A child would be able to fit it over her shoulder more easily than an adult.

Owl body measures 7"x7". I carefully added the embellishments that the stitches do not prominently show on the interior. 15mm flat-back rounded solid black eyes were used. These are not safety eyes, so there is no shaft poking through to the interior...YES you can store a small electronic device inside safely.

Hand-wash/spot wash only please, a trip through the washer may cause wonky-shaping! Lie flat to dry.
