I have a Playstation 3 40GB Fat Model I'm getting rid of it because it has the Flashing Red Light and I don't have the money to get it fixed so I'm listing it here on Listia.It comes with the console,power cord and a HDMI cable and yes it does have the Hard Drive in it.Sorry I don't have the controller anymore so it will not have one.And this is all Free Shipping and it will Ship UPS Ground if someone needs it shipped to a P.O. You can't GIN your too young lol., Once you get like 20 sales and 10 reply's will it let you. I have a couple of ps2 I take it the flashing red light is the ring of death? I've only heard of it. So since you say it needs to be fix but you can't afford it, Do you mindif I ask how much approx. to get it fixed. And I have no idea where to look. Already fanned ya from other auction.

The lights are a generic error caused by general hardware failure although the most common reason is the lead free solder buckling. Would take a reflow which costs anywhere from 50 to 120 bucks at a professional repair shop. Of course you could try to reflow it via oven or heat gun but both methods are likely to cause a temporary fix and damage it even more.

The lights mean there's general damage on the inside, that's why it doesn't work :P

You could play games and do everything on it what I have been told by Sony that the Flashing Red Light is do to the Heat Sink needs to be redone that is what causes this issue
