The listing, 1865 Maximillian Gold Peso GEM BU Mini Gold Layered Coin has ended.

This is a Mini Mexico Emperor Maximilian gold coin dated 1865.

It has a beautiful surface and hard to find choice bust. It weights 0.50 grams and measures 10mm.

The gold is supposed to be 22 karat but some of these coins were plated 22k over lower grade gold, or no gold and other non gold metal alloy.

I cannot verify the actual physical composition of this coin, but it is definitely a cool addition to any coin collection!
