Not an official controller? It's actually just a 3rd party GC controller made to look like the Classic controller?

I honestly have no idea, It works on the Wii, I got it online, so it's possible. It dosen't say Wii anywhere on it.
(also what's with the question marks? Sounded like a statement to me.)
