i am new at jewelrymaking,do the beadcaps clamp on,or do you glue them and do they have a thing on them that your bead string or chain goes thru/,i think i can use these but not sure

bead caps usually float sit onto the beads when strung. I have seen them glued before. Most bead caps you simply string with the bead and it holds itself adding to and also if you use PINS to make dangle, etc, the bead caps will help dress up the ends or both sides of the bead. Sorry for butting in, saw no response to your question yet. :).
