Yeah...but the point is, if she had taken that measley 10,000...she would not have 26,409 credits and counting right now!!! So, goes to prove that lowering the days DOES have an affect on one's auction. Good for you jblain210!!! Your auction is going fantastic!!! Just remember and look at it like this...if someone asks you to lower your days...are they doing so for your best interest...or theirs??? Welcome to listia...you are off to a great start!!!

jblain, from my experience you don't start getting many bids until the last day of your auction. I started out with 5 day auctions then changed them to 3 days...still ended up with the same bids! :-)

You are considering lowering the days but doing that lessens the credits you could possibly get in auction. 10,000 credits is nothing like what you could possibly get if you let the auction run the complete time. Be careful with people who tell you they will give you a certain amount of credits to lower the days or lower the starting bid. You cheat yourself out of possible credits and they do not have your best interest at heart. Lowering the days prevents others from making bids which keeps the amount of bids you get extremely low. You do what is best for you and your auction because only you will look out for you.
