3 rooted pieces of chocolate mint. yummy smell of chocolate! perennial; attractive herb that thrives in most locations; full sun or partial shade; fresh & dried foliage provides delicious flavoring for tea. can be used dried in cookies. mint is a rampant spreader. to control, plant in bottomless cans 10 inches deep or in pots placed on cement. cut frequently. rich, moist, well-drained soil. water frequently in pots. harvest fresh leaves as needed or hang in bunches to dry. store in air-tight containers. i've always preferred mine fresh picked.
when you rub your fingers on a leaf, it will leave that wonderful chocolate scent.
