Some fakes do have serial numbers.. but if the coach has a Creed.. there WILL be a serial number on it.. and it will never be blank.. Also look at the stitching around the Creed.. see how its uneven? and how some of the words run together? Coach would never do that.. their purses are perfect. This is a replica plain and simple.. Its cute.. but sadly not real..

Also the users are correct, the lining is wrong also.. that shiny lining with C's .. only used on fakes.. There will never be C's on both the interior and exterior of a Coach purse..


I would suggest requesting its removal as soon as possible..

Sorry, but if your sister works for "Coach" she sure didn't buy that purse there. The alignment of the c's are horrible, dead give away at being a fake and a poorly made fake at that, and I HAVE done my research, I research Coach bags all the time-

1. You will NEVER see a bag with the CC pattern on the outside AND the inside - this is a sure sign of a fake bag.

2. The stitching or general construction of the bag looks sloppy - this is a sure sign because COACH does not make sloppy products! Each stitch should be the same length as every other stitch, it should be in a straight line, and there should be no "over-stitching".

3. the pattern should line up and start in the center of the front panel of the bag. The center seam should go straight down through the middle of the CC's, and the pattern should be aligned horizontally and vertically. Also, the pattern should line up on any front or back pockets, so that it looks like there is no break in the pattern

the "C" logos of this bag are cut off at any of the bag's edges or seams. An authentic Coach bag does not display a logo that has been severed or partially sewn into a seam. No matter how slight the compromise may be, the "C" should be completely in tact.

Why so much drama? She is new, first clue, zero feedback. We all had to start at 1.

You people on here that call some of these coach purses fake rally need to talk to coach. They do not have autinticators and the forum is not qualified to tell you either. The only way to tell is if there is a receipt or you send it in to get fixed. There is no one and i mean no one on here qualified to tell you if your purse is real or not. If you don't like her listing the pass it by and look at other stuff. This is a nice coach purse. Just block the mean and nasty ones that's what everyone ealse does. Have a blessed week. F&W

Listen, due to all the info in the comments, the purse may not be authentic, I'll give you that, but I do not believe she was trying to deceive anyone. It was a gift, obviously she believed it to be real or why would she have taken a picture of the creed for all of you Coach experts out there to tear her down. Fine we all get it. She has already said bid if you don't care if its real or not. If you don't like it, don't bid. It's as simple as that. Besides... Who's gonna look in your purse to check out the creed and the stitching anyhow? Your purse is super cute. And I've been well informed on how to spot a fake one. Hey, no hard feelings. lucky you we are telling u the truth. we're not judging u. like u said, its just a gift from someone. but, why dont u accept the fact , now you know that ur bag is not authentic? Sure you'll get good points now, but u think others will trust u again? If those people, really like your bag even it's not authentic, then thats good. But dont claim its authentic. Its not a coach gurl. Its just a design inspired by coach.

To anyone who has read the existing comments: if you doubt that the purse is authentic then don't bid and if you don't care either way and like the purse then bid and good luck.

Im sorry kalamdorst, but i just want others how to Identify an authentic Coach Bag. Maybe even u, doesnt have an idea that ur bag is not real.

If the outside of the bag has the CC pattern, the lining (inside) will NOT have any pattern. If the outside of the bag does NOT have the CC pattern, the lining will most likely have the CC pattern (although sometimes neither the outside nor the inside will have the CC pattern)

Each stitch should be the same length as every other stitch, it should be in a straight line, and there should be no "over-stitching". all of the stitching is a uniform double-thickness. Any thin, single-thread or inconsistent stitching indicates a fake Coach handbag.

I get sooo confused it sometimes feels( this is My opinion only!!!) As if Coach purses are accused of being fake possibly to keep the Bids down for the swoopers... those who wait till the last second to Bid. Now do not get Me wrong I think swoopers as I call them are smart cookies & know how to save their credits by not getting in a bidding war & possibly using more than they wanted, because I do this :-D I have a problem if someone knocks an item just to keep the bidding down possibly for themselves, if that is what is really even been happening on some of these Coach Auctions.
