Description

The listing, Synthetic Mexican Opal in Silver with 18" long sterling necklace has ended.

Custom faceted synthetic Mexican Opal mounted in sterling pendant and hung on 18" sterling silver necklace.

Great gift for the holidays! Earrings are shipped in the gift box shown.

A synthetic stone is chemically and gemologically the equal to and sometimes more perfect than the natural stone. The difference is that the synthetic is made in a lab... hence sometimes synthetics are referred to as "Lab" or "created" stones. Some sellers will try to hide the fact that the stones are not natural and inadvertantly commit fraud.

This item contains a faceted stone that was created in a laboratory. The individual stones are more perfect than natural stones, containing fewer or no impurities and inclusions.

Shipping by USPS Priority upon receipt of $4.95 by Paypal or other approved method. Sorry, no APO/FPO or non-USA addresses, Please.

NO FREE SHIPPING... Combined shipping is available and encouraged.

What a gorgeous piece! How many carats is it?

It's quite large but I did not weigh the stones. Had they been natural Mexican opals, I would be able to quote actual weights per stone and as a group. I would guess a carat for each stone more or less. Makes no difference either way given the value of the stones being about $12.00
