The listing, Synthetic Pink Sapphire Earrings has ended.

Custom faceted synthetic pink sapphires mounted in Sterling silver with hypoallergenic posts and earnuts.

Great gift for the holidays! Earrings are shipped in the gift box shown.

A synthetic stone is chemically and gemologically the equal to and sometimes more perfect than the natural stone. The difference is that the synthetic is made in a lab... hence sometimes synthetics are referred to as "Lab" or "created" stones. Some sellers will try to hide the fact that the stones are not natural and inadvertantly commit fraud.

This item contains a faceted stone that was created in a laboratory. The individual stones are more perfect than natural stones, containing fewer or no impurities and inclusions.

Shipping by USPS Priority upon receipt of $4.95 by Paypal or other approved method. Sorry, no APO/FPO or non-USA addresses, Please.

NO FREE SHIPPING... Combined shipping is available and encouraged.

Thank you for your bid.

Are you SURE they are synthetic OPALS? I have never heard of clear, crystal opals and I have been in a business working with gemtones for 20 years. I guess MEXICAN opals could be clear but I don't think so. Peruvian are solid pinks, black, blue & gold, and sometimes white, but they are solid, for example. Just curious. I will bid!

I have three real Mexican opals the same color as the synthetics, only not so large... and they are cabs but unlike the syntheyics, they're quite valuable.

They are clear, without any milky or solid color?

Yes... synthetic sapphire is as nearly perfect as you can imagine. There is occasionally somezoning near the outside of the boule. An inexperienced person would be easily fooled. A jeweler would have to resort to a 10X loupe to see the zoning which is the "tell" of a synthetic. All of my synthetic corrundum is of Russian manufacture.
