The listing, Live Iris Plants Yellow/purple has ended.
This auction is for TWO live Iris plans. The color is a mystery- my baby plants got mixed up when I thinned out my beds. These babies have been transferred to a bed, where they will be stored until sold. The colors will be yellows and/ or purples. You could get solids or bicolors. You're bidding on whole plants, not just the corms(roots). I do not trim the fans back. The fans are the biggest indicators of your plant's health. Yellowish fans indicate that your plants have been overwatered. Brown-tipped fans indicate under watering. Pale fans indicate under fertilizing. Trimming them back for shipping to save money really does the new owner a disservice, as it shocks the plant and it'll take much longer to recover and reestablish itself. The last pic is what you'll be getting. These are immature plants, between 1-2 years old. An Iris will bloom at about 3 years old(sometimes longer, until the plant has established itself).
