Pretty ring! The company that did this mark is called Uncas. If the arrow is pointing to the left it was made somewhere between 1920 through at least 1988. If you have an arrow pointing on each side of the U, it is from 1919-1988.

Hi I just want to say I LOVE your ring i have a star sapphire also and it is my most prised pease of jewelry other then my engagment ring. If I had the money i woyld give you everything i had for yours i have always wanted another but i know you are not going to take 1400 for ir...lol so good luck i just had to say great auction.
