Schizobasis Intricata Rare South African Succulent Seeds
Here are 20 seeds of a rare and unusual succulent. This plant is native to a large area in Africa. It is related to Bowiea volubilis, the so-called climbing onion, and the pregnant onion plant. This plant requires very bright sun and watering only once the soil is dry. It produces a large bulb that peels like an onion. The foliage is tiny, wiry, green stems that produce small white flowers. The flowers are self-fertile. Shipped only to a Listia verified address. Thanks for looking.
Have you grown any from seed yet? Am a little skiddish about seed. I'm not the best at propagating from seed but am willing to try. Any suggestions? Faye
I have not grown any from seed. Only the ones that come up in the pot on their own :) I wouldn't think they would be difficult, as they grow in the pot with the parent plant with no special treatment. I would just treat them like any other seedling. Keep moist, but not wet. Lots of light.
