I just found a bag of Marigold seeds burried in the bottom of my seed box. I collected these from a customer's flower bed last year. They were so pretty I want to share these fairly large Orange and Yellow flowers. They grow by their driveway every year, and that was the only way I knew I was at the right house. All the houses on the block were basically the same color. These colorful beauties really stand out when planted in large groups!

This is not the actual picture, I did not get one at the time, however they are the same Yellow color, also bright Orange:)

Very easy to grow in just about any soil. Plant in a group, as a border, or for color around gardens. Marigolds are said to keep certain insects away, but I have not noticed a difference. Maybe I would have more bugs without them, who knows:)

Sow seeds 1/2" deep, keep moist until established then water during dry spells, low maintenance.

After they are finished blooming in late fall, let the seed pods dry and store them in a dry area to trade or plant next spring. When in a hurry, just pull up the whole plant and dry it upside down.

You will receive 6 or more dried flower pods with lots of seeds in each one.
