It washes right out. I used one on my 4 year old daughter for crazy hair day it washed out that night in the bath, she has blond haer and we used a dark pink. :)

Yes these colors just sit on the hair shaft and you flat iron the color to keep it on your hair longer and then hair spray it to seal it in.
