This Stuff is Free Too:
Description

The listing, Nokia N-Gage - Great condition has ended.

Used in great condition. The screen has still the original plastic protector so no scratches I can see.
It comes complete with all the cables, cd, manual and also TMobile sim and manual. Not sure if you can use it to make phone calls. Hubby has used only to play games and never activated the sim card.
Please check with the carrier first (TMobile) BEFORE you bid if you intend to use this to make phone calls.
Note about the original box and the holder:
Even though you see them on these photos, they are not included in this auction UNLESS the bid goes over 10000 points/credits. It is more economical to ship in a small priority box than to include the box and the holder that most people probably would care less if they are included or not (I think, but I may be wrong).
Of course, if it is a local pickup, I will include it at hand off.

I will be postings tons of stuff before the holidays so keep an eye out for my auctions!

I Will ship from non smoking home
After the end of auction, please send me your address for mailing.

Good luck!

what type of sim card does this use?

Just regular sim - how many types are out there?
Nov 4th, 2010 at 10:20:38 AM PDT by
Original
Three types actually micro Sim, LTE sim, and normal sim. Micro Sim is used on few phones and basically same as normal sim, LTE sim is a sim used for LTE service wich although most people will tell you is 4g it is not and there is currently only one phone on the market that even uses this (the samsung Craft), and regular sim which any non CDMA phone uses. CDMA is what Verizon and Sprint use wich does not take a sim card.

wow! thanks for the education, did not know that. You can see what Tmobile uses, that is what is in the NGage. The sim is already in there but not sure if those degrade over time. I think Tmobile may give you one free if the ngage is used as a phone. But again, please check with them if it can be done before bidding.

What format are the games for this system? Are they cartridge based? Are any games included? I read that service for this unit will be discontinued at the end of 2010. So will it still be able to play games after that happens?

I do not know the format. I am not aware of anything about end of service. Isn't kind of Microsoft discontinuing service for Windows 98 but still there are tons of people out there that have the system with no problem? As an example...

Well, if the games are on cartridges, the system should still play them regardless. But discontinuing service probably means it, can't be used as a cell phone anymore after 2010.
Also, if it does not reach 10,000 credits, is there any way that the holder and box can be included? Maybe if the winner threw in a couple of bucks for shipping, or something? Thanks.

i would consider throwing in the box and holder, if the winner wants them and pay extra for ship, of course.
