The listing, 1934 **$5 BLUE SEAL ERROR NOTE**RARE** ABOUT UNCIRCULATED CONDITION!!! has ended.

This is a beautiful note, the paper is bright and brilliant.

I would grade this piece as "About Uncirculated" and here is why:

1) It is all there "Intact", has it's corners to the points.
2) It has Zero Tears or RIps
3) It is free of any writing on it
4) It's creases are light but it stops it from getting a much higher rating.
5) It has vibrant color (not faded)
6) The paper is bright and clean looking.

****This note is an ERROR NOTE;

At the very top of the bill you will see a 1/2 inch black line (horizontal), and in the top right corner it has a _l . These are cutting lines, so this one got cut off the mark which make this piece even more valuable/desirable. See these marks in the photos!! ****

From The US Error Note Encyclopedia: "A Currency Error is any note that does not meet the minimum quality standards of the Bureau of Engraving and Printing but still somehow manages to escape being pulled during the many human and mechanical inspections." These errors include; cutting errors, folds and tears, inking errors, missing prints, etc.

It's a little strange when you think about it that an "error" is a "good" thing and worth something. Aliens would be like "why do people want something that should have been thrown out/destroyed as a defect" :-) If it was an i-phone we'd be up in arms, but not coins/stamps/currency ;-o

sdh is right the only thing keeping this note from being uncirculated is the fold marks just from what i am able to see it probably would grade 7 to 8 and it is an error because it does show the line in witch it should be cut. Its not very bad off cut. i wish it was a different series because i have this one but this one is a grade better than mine. Great auction if you have any other series or a $10 dollar certificate please let me know im intrusted. good luck and i hope the bids go high.....
