On this particular coin there is NO date, it is an Off Center strike of the coin, that is why you see the plain copper at the edge, the date has been cut off. There is a group of coin collectors who specialize in collecting error and variety coins. I hope this answered your question. Feel free to ask any questions I will be glad to try and answer.
