Overview
DON'T GO INTO THE WOODS...

On the evening of May 5, 1993, Cub Scouts Christopher Byers, Steve Branch and Michael Moore rode their bikes into the deep woods of Robin Hood Hills in West Memphis. Before dawn, all three would be dead-horribly slain after a night of torture and mutilation. When the bodies were discovered in the shallow creek running through the forest, there was only one question on everyone's lips: What monsters could have committed such an unspeakable crime against three innocent eight-year-old boys?

Widespread rumors of psychopathic strangers, serial killers and twisted cults fueled the small-town hysteria. But the actual identity of the murderers would prove as shocking as the crime itself. Jessie Lloyd Misskelley, Jr., 17, Charles Jason Baldwin, 16, and Damien Wayne Echols, 18, were not only members of the community-they were hardly more than children themselves.

What really happened in Robin Hood Hills? What dark forces drove the killer to prey upon three young boys? Can we ever know for sure? Written by the investigative team that covered the story as it was breaking, here is the dramatic, in-depth account of a savage crime America will never forget.

Fanned you back! :) Yes, it is a disturbing case, and I am so glad they are free men now. Now if only the real killer were brought to justice!

Yes, his book Life After Death is genius. This book is written more from the perspective of the prosecution, and is outdated now, but still worth a read. I first heard about the case in 1998. I didn't know what to think--it was painfully obvious there was something way off. So many lies.
