The listing, 10kt Garnet pendant w/diamond has ended.

this is a lovely pendant. 10kt yellow gold. No chain.
It is either a garnet or a rhodalite. I'm not a jeweler, so I don't know. I have a carat measuring wheel, but I can only give an estimate that this is approximately a 5mm garnet, which is approximately 1/2 ct. My measuring wheel only measures round stones, and this is an oval..but it's pretty close. There is a little diamond also.

Its a garnet. Rhodonite is a deep pink with darker tones- a solid, (opaque)gemstone. This is gorgeous! Fanned!

Thanks for the info. I kinda THOUGHT it to be a garnet..but it's a little lighter than my other garnet jewelry...MUCH easier to see the color!!

hi .......... i just wanted to add some info to help , garnet comes in every color of the rainbow , they all have different names because the minerals used to color them change .. also going by size of round diamonds doesn't help either , it can be a 6x4 mm oval or 5x7 since its in a setting , these are usually the size setting come in unless you get it special made for the stone .. either way it is probably close to 1ct stone .please dont take offense to this , im in school to be a gemologist so just trying to help
