There is a part where they are on a boat, and the game skips a little bit. But it corrected itself after a couple seconds and I finished the game with no problem.

Hehe, looks like I'm getting this so far. :) Can you try and put it in an old cd case or something, or wrap it good? I dont want the postman to snap it if its in an envelope. I'm excited to play this. Had it long ago, but lost it.
