memory stick look fishy to me they don't come with stickers that say warranty void if removed. Some one gave me some pc 100 sticks like that they said 512MB but only were 32MB
motherboards can only use one type of memory, its not just a setting, if you put ddr3 memory into a ddr2 motherboard, there is a very good chance the memory, and a slight chance your motherboard memory slots are fried,
does your computer that you tried these in still boot up? and have you gotten these sticks to work in any computer?
You can only use this ddr3 memory on a ddr3 motherboard. Different types of memory will not inner change ddr ddr2 ddr3 it's all different. There is no way you can but them in different types of memory slots.
It will boot with my computer as long as I have my bios set for the komputerbay modules. I have a push button on my motherboard that will let my computer use pretty well any brand of memory. It's just that it's not the recommended brand for this motherboard. It's just a big hassle for this motherboard.
I built a machine and tried this memory. When ever I reinstalled a different os I had to reset my memory. So I bought other memory where I didn't need to keep resetting the memory.
