Hi! Thanks for the great question. This game is best suited for "6 yrs and up", with some reading skills. Here are a couple reviews from Toys-R-Us that I think will help:

"This is a really great, fun game...and soo addictive! I bought it for my 6 year old, and she couldn't put it down. Then I played it myself, and I couldn't put it down! Very entertaining. With so much content and various activities, there's no chance to become bored. You take on the role of Princess Tiana. There's a lot of jumping on moving platforms, collecting different things, and many other fun and interesting tasks. As you move along through the (#27) chapters, the story is told by "Talking Heads". My daughter just loves it. Very kid friendly and appropriate, Well worth the $29.99 spent...I highly recommend."

Another Toys-R-Us review says:
"The game is super cute, but your child should be able to read in order to play it alone. My daughter is almost 5, and just starting to read, so it can be a little challenging for her at times. I just help her read along, and she plays it great. It's actually helping her learn to read because she wants to read it all by herself!"
