I won't be sending the plastic outer jacket to save on shipping, but they are FACTORY SEALED in the bronze plastic envelope from Hello Music. It will come with the cardboard sleeve showing which strings are which. These can be used with an electric, I did so in a pinch and they sounded as good as the D.M. Blue strings.
