Yes, SSPC was a brand back in 1975. They released two sets and a preview set for 1976 before going out of business. These cards are from their first set.

They are standard size.

This was a 630 card set with a rather small print run.. The set sells anywheres from #150 and up. Some of the cards, especially the Red Sox group are quite expensive.
