are they stretchy or have some give on the top? I don't like socks that are tight around my ankle. very pretty.

what kind of yarn did you make them in?

the ankle area stretches to around 10" and the top to around 12"

they are made from a washable wool blend has some cotton-rayon and acrylic in it--can be washed warm and laying flat to dry

i dont remember the name--it was from a friend who bought it in princeton nj several years ago --i do remember it was made in turkey but that's all i remember
