will an Ipod 4th gen with a snapon hard case (really thin) fit in the ipod slot with the snapon case attached? or will I need to take off the case to fit the IPod touch out of the case to put it in this case?

In other words is it really tight fit or is there some wiggle room for that case to stay on the Ipod?

Umm, I don't think you could be able to fit it in there with another case on. But it isn't so tight that its impossible to get in and out. I'd say its just the right snugness ;)
